Signing in to both Q4 Inc and Virtua with One Account
A guide for Q4 Inc users on the benefits of unified access across both platforms.
Overview
Q4 Inc and Virtua are joining forces to deliver a single, seamless experience for our customers. Starting soon, both Q4 Inc users and Virtua users will be able to use their existing credentials to seamlessly access both solutions.
This FAQ explains what that change means for you.
One login, two platforms, and a powerful offering that is significantly more valuable than either product on its own.
To understand what is changing, find the use case that best describes your situation:
1. I am both a Virtua and Q4 Inc user, and I use the same email address for both accounts.
You will use your Q4 account to seamlessly access both the Q4 and Virtua platforms with no impact on your day-to-day activities.
Following June 30th, your old Virtua credentials will no longer work and you will authenticate with the Q4 account exclusively.
If:
Same email address and same password
Same email address and different password
For both scenarios, you will use your Q4 email and password - please, remove the cached password.
2. I am both a Virtua and Q4 Inc user, but I use different email addresses for both accounts.
Q4 will reach out to create a plan to centralize your access to a single account. Once this is done, you will use your chosen Q4 account to seamlessly access both the Q4 and Virtua platforms with no impact on your day-to-day activities.
3. I am a Virtua user, and either do not have a Q4 Inc account or use a different email address for it.
Your account will be migrated to Q4 with no impact on your day-to-day activities and you will continue to seamlessly access your current Virtua account with no disruption. Once your account is migrated, you will authenticate with Q4 using your existing credentials (your current password) and will rely on Q4 for actions such as password reset and 2FA challenges in the future.
4. I am a Q4 Inc user, and either do not have a Virtua account or use a different email address for it.
You will continue to use your account as before, with no changes. If in the future you decide to purchase new offerings that Q4 adds to its portfolio after the Virtua merger is complete, you will have seamless access to those with your existing Q4 account.
5. I log in to Virtua through Single-Sign On; I don’t use an email and password combination to log in.
Q4 will reach out to create a plan to migrate your current SSO configuration from Virtua to Q4. Once the new SSO configuration is live, you will continue to seamlessly access your current Virtua account with no disruption. If in the future you decide to purchase new offerings that Q4 adds to its portfolio after the Virtual merger is complete, you will have seamless access to those with your existing account.
6. Are there any costs for this migration for Q4 SSO?
No.
7. Will my session inactivity behaviour change after the migration?
Yes. In line with the latest security best practices, Q4 users are logged out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
8. Will my session behavior change after the migration?
Yes. Q4’s session management does not restrict users to a single active session per user.
9. Will I be able to use my Virtua credentials to log in to Q4 Inc?
Until June 30 2026, all Virtua credentials will continue to work.
After June 30 2026, Q4 login will become the primary method. Existing Virtua accounts will be migrated automatically with no loss of data, history, or settings, so you will be able to use the same combination of email and password on the Q4 login page to authenticate.
10. Will I be able to use my Q4 credentials to log in to Virtua?
After June 30, 2026, Q4 login will become the primary authentication method for both platforms. Provided that you have a valid Virtua subscription, as a Q4 customer, you will log in through the Q4 login page and be able to seamlessly navigate to Virtua without the need to reauthenticate.
11. Will my existing data, settings, and permissions be preserved?
Yes. Your projects, data, saved work, and role-based permissions remain intact.

You will use your Q4 account to seamlessly access both the Q4 and Virtua platforms with no impact on your day-to-day activities.
